Jewellery returns

  • According to Article 6.228-10 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, a Buyer who has purchased a product in this online store has the right to return a quality product within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt without specifying a reason.
    We kindly ask you to inform us of your intention to return a product by email at vilnius@hermis.eu or by phone at +370 5 2311559 (during business hours).
  • The Buyer must return the product purchased in this online store to the Seller in its original packaging, with the product’s label intact. If the item has a certificate issued by the Lithuanian or Latvian Assay Office, it must be returned with the certificate and its seal undamaged.
  • The Buyer must deliver the returned goods no later than 14 calendar days from the date of notifying the Seller about the return. The Buyer may return the goods to the jewelry stores of UAB “Hermis” located at:
    Telšiai, Kęstučio St. 11-3 (LT 87121), Vilnius, Rūdninkų St. 8–108 (LT 01135), Plungė, Telšių St. 12-2 (LT 90162) or send them by registered mail to the address: Rūdninkų St. 8–108, LT 01135, Vilnius.
  • Until the returned product reaches the UAB “Hermis” jewelry store, it remains the Buyer’s property and responsibility. Therefore, when returning the product, the Buyer must ensure that it is properly packaged to prevent damage during shipping and must keep the tracking number of the registered shipment.
  • According to Article 6.228-11 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, expenses incurred because the Buyer explicitly chose a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery option offered by the trader will not be reimbursed.
  • Once the returned item is received and its condition has been assessed, the Buyer will be additionally informed, and the money will be refunded within 14 calendar days to the bank account specified by the Buyer in writing.
  • UAB “Hermis” reserves the right to refuse returned jewelry items that show signs of mechanical damage caused by the Buyer. This also applies to jewelry that has clearly been improperly maintained.
  • According to Civil Code of Republic of Lithuania 6.22810 article, 3rd part, custom made jewellery cannot be returned.
  • According to Article 6.228-11 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, the Buyer’s right to withdraw does not apply to goods made according to the Buyer’s special instructions that are not pre-manufactured and are produced based on the Buyer’s personal choice or instructions, or to goods that are clearly customized for the Buyer’s personal needs.
  • In order to change the size of a ring purchased in this online store, the Buyer must contact the Seller no later than 7 calendar days from the date of receiving the ring.
  • According to Article 6.364 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, all jewelry purchased in this online store is covered by a statutory warranty for 24 months from the date of delivery.
  • Neither physical nor electronic GIFT CARDS can be exchanged for cash.
  • All questions and disagreements regarding jewellery return are solved by negotiations. If negotiations are not successful, State Consumer Rights Protection Authority will be asked to help.
  • The Buyer may submit requests or complaints through the online dispute resolution platform at http://ec.europa.eu/odr/
